What should my child wear for their headshot session?
To create a strong variety of images, please bring several different tops in a range of colours and necklines. Avoid logos or busy patterns, as these can distract from your child’s face. By bringing options, we can create a few different looks that will work well for your agency.
Should my child wear make-up?
For professional children’s headshots, it’s best not to apply make-up because casting directors want to see your child’s natural appearance. Clean, fresh skin photographs beautifully under studio lighting.
Should my child wear jewellery?
Headshots should be clean and distraction-free so the focus stays on your child’s face and expression.
How should my child wear their hair?
Please arrive with hair worn down. This gives flexibility during the session so we can create different looks if needed.
Can I stay with my child during the session?
Yes — a parent or guardian is best to stay for the entire session. The photo session will last one hour to one and a half hours approximately.
Are Sunday sessions available?
Yes — I offer Sunday afternoon appointments from 1pm
Is parking easy?
Yes — On Sunday there is free parking nearby on Bark street, keeping things stress-free!
How much are children’s headshots?
The session fee & 10 retouched images: £165. No hidden fees.

Yes. I regularly photograph children from Manchester and Greater Manchester at my professional studio in Bolton town centre. Families regularly travel to me from Manchester, Bury, Wigan, Chorley, Preston and surrounding areas.
