Meeting Harriet has been a treat… she’s not only a great business woman, she’s a fantastic hair stylist and complete inspiration. We shot these pictures for her new venture into the wedding dress industry on location near Ridgmont House in Bolton, Lancashire. Ridgmont is a beautiful wedding venue where a few of my friends and my sister have got married. The idea of the shoot was to capture the model and dresses against the evening light. The trees however where hiding most of the sunset but it was interesting to see how far we could push it before we completely lost the sunlight… (the final shots were taken around 9pm!) Huge thank you to Kathryn O’Donnell for the models stunning make-up and Ridgmont House for letting us play in their gardens and fields.
